I'm actually surprised they replaced it under warranty with the miles you have. And 40k points to boot.
I also had an Issue where my APIM module had to be replaced in 2023 because wireless CarPlay didn't work and they gave me a free 2 year or 36,000 miles (so 72,000 miles with the factory warranty) extended warranty on the truck . Again, without even asking for it or complaining. Was just offered over the phone. I ended up not needing the extended warranty as I didn't have any claims (I'm over the miles now ) , but it's these things that create the brand loyalty that I expect to have for life with Ford.

I’m not surprised. My recollection is that the chargers have a 3 year warranty that is not tied to the warranty on the truck. Thus, no mileage limitation.

It must be different than the mobile charger then. That is covered under the 3 year/36k mile warranty.

Is that only if it was on your sticker, included your purchase? Mine was not so I purchased it from a local dealer while waiting for my FCSP to show up from Suncrawl.

Mine after approximately 18 months of daily use.

Definitely looks like some wear on it. I suppose these are “wear items” to a certain extent, but I hope the price of a cord replacement comes down in the future, because if it doesn’t I’d be inclined to just replace the whole unit given the likelihood of failure of IC board components.
