My FCSP operated at full 48 amps to my Lightning last night for about an hour an a half (when I stopped the charging session via FordPass).

On Tuesday I noticed the white station reset light on my FCSP. This morning, I checked the software on the EVSE. The software version was still 2.112.125:3.15:3.15:3.15 as noted on 3/17/25, but the firmware version was now 5.0.25.

While following up on another thread where folks were having issues fully integrating the FCSP into their wifi network and associating the device to the Fordpass account, @EVpower posted that he noted a new firmware version 2.112.125:3.15:3.15:3.15:3.15

I logged onto my FCSP configuration app an noticed the same new version level, this is the first time I've seen an upgrade since prior thread started August 27 2023 [ FCSP Software Version 2.112.91:2.149:1.32:1.53:0.62]

This is great progress is happening!!!
I don’t know if any of you have tried, but you can now adjust the amperage in the app and it actually works without having to power cycle the FCSP-Yea🍾🎉🎈

edit: never mind see post below

Sorry to hear that, definitely a lot of leukemia in that occupation, mutations in the bone marrow caused by the radiation lead to cancerous blood cells.

My wife is being treated for a kind of leukemia right now, but thankfully it is a very treatable and curable kind, called APL:

Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is a rare, but curable, subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) characterized by the overproduction of immature white blood cells called promyelocytes, often leading to bleeding and clotting problems.

It has a 90%+ cure rate if one gets through the first month and responds to the treatment, which involves infusions of an arsenic compound (Arsenic TriOxide) and a form of modified Vit A (ATRA) in pill form.

So far so good, one more month of treatment, then a biopsy to see if it's all gone and then a year of monitoring in case it comes back.

BTW, that treatment comes from Chinese medicine which was at first looked at with skepticism by US doctors, but since APL was incurable, they decided to try it, and now it is the accepted treatment. That is according to the senior doctor at the cancer practice treating my wife anyway. So stuff from China isn't all bad.

It is a very rare type of leukemia and the mutation in the bone marrow apparently arises spontaneously for unknown reasons, sometimes young people get it, sometime us old folks.

A nutritional deficiency in Vits B12 and B9 (folate) can lead to bone a marrow mutation that causes another blood disease called megalobastic anemia where mutant red blood cells are formed. So perhaps my wife had a nutritional issue caused by the medicines she was taking for reflux, PPI's (Proton Pump Inhibitors), that are known to result in B vitamin deficiencies if taken for more than 28 days, which is a common thing.

If my FCSP can cure itself suddenly and silently with a SW update, anything is possible!
My mom is going through a similar situation. I don’t know if it is the same or not, but she is getting better slowly, but surely hopefully that is the case for your wife as well.

I just checked my Firmware Version, it has also moved up to 5.0.25 since the software version update a while ago.

I adjusted the charging rate to 48 amps prior to plugging the truck into the FCSP.
Then plugged in, the rate of charge leveled out at 11.3 KW, I let this run for a while, the Fordpass app showed it's DC KW rate going into the battery as 10.4 KW ie. 92% of the AC rate, this is normal.

Then tried adjusting the rate on the fly while the charging session was still in process, the rate briefly increased a little then ramped back to 11.3 KW, then I paused {stopped} the session to make the rate adjustment once again to 80 amps, then resumed charging, it climbed back to 11.2 KW, at this point I decided to stop the charging session until I finished my daily afternoon walk.

Unplugged, waited 30 seconds for charging statistics to roll up to the servers.
Confirmed the FCSP sub app rate of charge was set to 80 amps, then plugged is again.
This seemed to work the rate was much higher but not quite the peak I usually see, likely it's a hair under 80 amps, as the yellow derating lamp was illuminated.

I'll retest Thursday, I rebooted the FCSP and confirmed that my 80 AMP setting is showing on the app, it should go back to full rate in the next session, this has been the case in the past.

Yeah, that’s weird. I just tested and mine is not doing it either now???
I tested it prior to posting and I had it set about 45 A or 50 A I don’t remember exactly it was pulling about 9.6 KWH so I went into the charge station toggle and changed it to 80 amp and then it ramped up to like 17.6 kWh on the FordPass app but now it won’t do it-I thought they had fixed it, but maybe it was a glitch or an app error.
Sorry for my premature joyification-😢

I've noticed over the past few weeks that my amperage is stable at 48 amps. Before, it used to randomly jump up to 80 and be hard to get back to 48. After the software update to 2.112.125:3.15:3.15:3.15:3.15, after a few days I noticed the firmware had changed, too, to 5.0.25, as other folks have reported.

Finally got around to checking mine, SW and FW both updated. I already charged for today, can try messing with rate tomorrow.

Glad to hear your mom is improving. I know how difficult it can be for both of you, and other family members.

My wife was so near to dying with internal bleeding last August, it was touch and go for weeks, she spent a month in the hospital with me by her side as much as possible. It just came out of the blue, totally unexpected, such a quick decline in her health at the onset.

But now just an amazing improvement from the few months of treatment with special forms of Vit A (ATRA) and arsenic (ATO).

There is a 90%+ survival rate at 3 years with what my wife has, Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APML), so we are hopeful.

Confirmed today that the rate is back to default 80 amps, no yellow warning lamp on the FCSP.
Todays charge was 5%, the FP said 8.5KW at the end, the final charging report rounded that up to 9KW, Emporia shows 9.333KW and the FCSP shows 9.346KW.

I would recommend that if you're going make adjustments based on usage and recovery to be ready for the next drive and stay within any TOU requirements, that you calculate a rate that fits your needs and set the value before plugging the truck into the FCSP, the change should work.

How do you get to the cost to show up? Mine doesn't have that.

What version of Fordpass and platform are you on ?

I'm on Android version 5.15.0 of Fordpass.

The format you show seems outdated.
