Is the Fordpass app working now for you? Can you share a screen? I have not heard of anyone where it is working
No, they cancelled my original submission. I called back in to follow up on the status and they resubmitted my registration after informing me of the error. The representative was able to find my original submission and was confident about this one…

when running your FCSP wires, DC and AC lines, and the signal lines (3wires wrapped together) do those come in the kit anywhere or did you guys buy separate wire for that as well?

Separate wire
FWIW, although not required, my electrician is somewhat conservative and highly recommended running the DC conductors in separate conduit based on his industrial installation experience……

Consider that all of that wiring is bundled together in the cable between the FCSP and the CCS connector. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve read that I. The field manual. 1” for AC and 1/2” (I think) for DC.

I just have been reading the schematics and the signal wire is sheathed together but I don’t see that anywhere.

True…I’m expressing absolutely no expertise…that’s why I hired this work out to a trusted, licensed, electrician 🤓. He was clear that the separation of the AC & DC conductors was his recommendation, not code, based on his work in industrial settings….and, was a conservative approach.

I had him install the DC conduit since he was already in the wall/in the attic to future proof….I’m holding off running the DC conductors if/until I decide to install an HIS….🤔

Absolutely nothing wrong with that approach.

The thing is that the FCSP will either be using the DC wires or the AC wires but never both, right?

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the blu/whiteblue/orange cat 6 cable

This tread has contributed signficantly to the decision to cancel my Lighting order.

Well, that was not the intent🤣. I would say this… I love my Lightning. The ONLY missing piece for me is the ability to use the HIS with the Fordpass app. The HIS itself works fine. Just the Fordpass integration is being trouble. This is something I expected as a first user though. Just need to set proper expectations.

After waiting an extra two weeks, the system still isn't showing up in the FordPass application. I called back into SunRun Customer Care (1-844-809-4320) and provided the reason for the call. I was transferred to the Ford department as expected. After discussing the issue yet again, I was provided a new "direct" number (1-800-777-6609) to call and finalize the installation of the Home Integration System with them. After numerous calls and going through the previous steps with the representative, the representative informed me the vehicle VIN still wasn't registered to me as the owner. After 30 minutes into the call, the representative was able to find my previous call history. He asked if I received the registration notification in the application, which I haven't. After reviewing the notes further and his procedures, he is attempting to re-register my system. He advised that my system service contract was showing as cancelled and he didn't understand why. He advised that I should receive a notification from the FordPass app within the next 1-2 weeks (like before) informing me that my system has been registered.

After waiting another month, I decided to call back in and check on the status of my registration. I explained that I would like to find out the status of my home integration system registration. I explained that this was my 3rd attempt at having the system registered. The representative put me on hold for 2-5 minutes and came back to request my BDI serial number and charger ID. He then informed me that escalation would take a week. I asked that we escalate today and he said that wasn't an option. I ended the phone call. I called back immediately and spoke with another representative. This time I was put on hold for 1-2 minutes. He returned and took my personal information and assured me that I would be contacted back in the next 24-48 hours from the Ford department. He also assured me that if I didn't hear from anyone in this period that I could call back and they would provide me with details regarding the escalation. So... Here I am 4 months now after the installation the home integration system and it still isn't registered in the Ford Pass application.
