The electrical contractor is at my house right now installing the Pro Power Charger. Will I need to do anything tonight when I go home to charge? Is it all plug n play? Do I need to set up anything?

Thanks.

Plug and Play. It'll charge any vehicle with CCS port.
Though good luck trying to get the app to talk to the Pro charger. I spent days on that and just gave up. YMMV, it sounds like some people were able to get it setup.

Thanks. I didn't know if I had to set it up to WiFi or the App before I could charge.

Don’t get your hopes up, treat it like a dumb charger and life will be fine. Use the dial inside to select one of various amp levels delivered.
Good Luck

Keep in mind that unless your 2024 Flash is a fleet vehicle, the max charging you will get is 48amps, not 80amps.

So as i have been told, you don't have to hook it up to the network, it would function as a dumb charger. What is the benefit of hooking it up to the network?
Yes, it will work, and probably won't give you any issues at 48 amps, causing the connector heat to prematurely signal an overheat condition.

The FCSP has a factory software update to fix this issue, that you'll likely never experience, folks charging at 80 amps on a hot summer day were having this issue.

Collecting charging statistics from the FCSP is pretty useful IMHO, but if you're not concerned then getting past any set up troubles won't be worth your aggravation, honestly hope it goes well for you.

I just had my installed last week and at first it was super frustrating because it charged for like 10 minutes perfectly fine and then it went to an error and it was charging at a “reduced charge”. The way I solved this after talking to Ford a couple times was to turn off the breaker to the charger itself and wait 10-15 minutes. Flip the switch back on and it worked like a charm.

You probably got the software update which implemented with the power cycling.

Is there a way to get the update without WiFi? (USB, serial, etc). I gave up on trying to get it connected. My main WiFi is too far away, but even when I took an old AP and put it right next to the charger, it would not connect (wouldn't show up in the router DHCP table).

The charger worked flawlessly. First time I woke up to a fully charged vehicle. I did not hook to Wi-Fi, I may eventually try, but after it warms up in spring. LOL.
