Ford, if your listening, I have cash in my pocket and its burning a big ol' hole. I know the newer MME's were offered a performance upgrade via OTA. Apparently the Lightning electric motors were used, allowing the flexibility for more power. Now that BC1.4 is out the way, you can work on this and add Supercharger stations in our native nav.

Edit: Add a real dog mode!
I'd pay for more power and may or may not have told them in a survey of which I may or may not have been sworn to secrecy. Allegedly.

I'd also pay for more power in my wife's Navigator. There's an upgrade available for the Raptor with the same engine but it's not available on the Lincoln. Ford, Make it happen! Raptigator!

Global charge rate limit differentiated by AC and DC charging. Not just this location specific nonsense.

But, if you look at OTAs as software, which it is, I don't know anyone that offers continous improvements and feature updates for free for all eternity, you eiter subscribe to the software or pay for maintenance / upgrades.

So if it's between buying a whole new vehicle because Ford says, nope, we're not going to add those features to vehicles older than 2 years (even though the hardware could handle it) and paying, say $500, to get onto the latest and greatest software track, I'd pay for the upgrade if the features were worth it.
Not even Microsoft continually supports products after release. Eventually, the support will get dropped. I dont expect otherwise from Ford. Given that this is a giant rolling computer that cost many of us a good bit, I would like to see product support last atleast 8 years. I would be comfortable with that. Not 2 years, there would be no incentive to buy a Ford over another brand.

Dog mode would be great along with........ Stay in "Sport Mode" without being asked, power off climate on main screen (press temp button then power in middle of the volume knob)

Someone showed me a quicker way to turn climate off without opening the HVAC screen and finding the tiny on/off button:

Just press the fan icon and spin the volume knob to the left until it is OFF.

AFAIK, all model years have reported receiving BC1.4 already, so its only a matter of time until you receive it. Have you tried praying to the almighty FoMoCo servers to increase your chances?

I disagree with paying for OTA updates, with the exception of the performance upgrade. Your basically shaving off half a second for (hopefully) under $500-$700 which is what you would spend in an ICE car if you modded it. Thats fair game.

That dashcam thing aint gonna happen. Its been discussed already, we lack the hardware to do so. Propower, camping and dog mode are all fairly within reach of the software development team. I hope to see these feature rollout soon, including charge current display on the drivers dash and adding Superchargers to the native nav.
I'm actually okay with paying for certain OTAs and others not... Dog mode standard.. camping mode - if it's my thing sure I'll pay a "one time fee".

Ford needs to think a little differently. There dealers need alternative income options. Ford is really missing an opportunity to come up with ways for dealers to make money with the camera thing.. We know they have the cameras, they need an add on hardware piece (dealer installes) with a larger LVB (dealer sold and installed) and a little software rewrite to integrate... would i buy it - yes.. could they add $2 a month to my Ford Premium compatibility charge - yup...

There are multiple examples of money generating opportunities that I've seen in these threads...

I'm willing to pay to keep Ford profitable when the charges make sense. As a business owner, if you don't make a profit you go out of business (or create shoddy product - Stelantis anyone)

I just found a new wish!! That the Premium Connectivity from Ford included the vehicle hot spot!!

I just went down the rabbit hole to try to understand the Premium Connectivity to see if it is worth it for an upcoming trip or for general summer road trip season. I of course applied logic and assumed the cellular connection used to feed "Premium Connectivity" would also feed the wireless hot spot in the truck so you can use "on screen" apps or your own laptop/tablet, etc. via the truck's hot spot.

But nooo...the vehicle hot spot is a whole different subscription thing with AT&T (3 month free trial I had not used so will try that and not the premium connectivity).

I would gladly pay $10 a month (in the summer when I do a lot more road trips) for Premium Connectivity only if it also activated/handled to the truck hot spot. So this is my newest wish for the list!

Paying for OTA updates is a slippery slope. Most of the updates are fixes for things that were not completed before shipping the product or features that were poorly designed. It would be nice to see a company take care of their customers and in return we continue to buy their products in the future.

In order of preference for me:

- Modes that stick for each user (ie. sports mode)
- An HVAC setting that pushes air to the windshield to prevent fogging while in auto
- Using front and rear cameras as dash cams
- Remote battery conditioning on demand
- Propower with truck off
- Remote cabin heating/cooling doesn't shut off if you open the frunk
- An about section that shows every module's version

I'm sure I have more but those are the ones off the top of my head.

I would love to have a customizable center display screen available of all the parameters that CarScanner picks up from the OBD2 without needing CarScanner and a bluetooth adapter at the OBD port. At a minimum, HV battery health, module voltage variation, etc. @Ford Motor Company

I agree with these, but I would put battery preconditioning and pro power with truck off as the first two. Actually, I would make the preconditioning manually available through console. My battery has never preconditioned. I have tried navigating to chargers via native navigation, Google Maps on Android, and Apple Maps on iPhone.

I didn’t know about remote cabin shutting off with frunk opening. Who would have guessed that to happen.

I don't want to see attention paid to anything else other than the BC 1.4 update and getting faster DC charging rolled out to everyone. These are big quality of life updates and should be the priority for @Ford Motor Company

My brother just bought his 2024 Flash and has these software updates. It's frustrating that I have had my truck for more than two years and do not.

Thank you in advance to Ford to get these turned around.
