Power Up-4.1.1 OTA software update released

OTAs are a joke. Drive for 30 minutes, parking brake on, lights off, stand on your head for two minutes, turn vehicle on, pet your dog and not a cat, put vehicle in accessory mode, hit update, turn vehicle off but don’t activate alarm and don’t plug in. And if you don’t do this exactly it won’t work. Or schedule and install time except it can’t be at 12:00 am or pm cause that won’t work either.

oh and once the update fails a certain number of times it is gone, will not retry and you have to make an appointment with a dealer which in my case is 2-3 months.

Is this something I can ask the dealer to update for me tomorrow while the get the Blue Cruise activated or is this available for the early release. Sorry, I'm not well verse in the software lol.

You can ask, IIRC from perusing the FORSCAN threads, there are certain module updates which trigger further updates to kick off, the question I can't answer is if your SM and Tech are willing to take the time to do this, ask and maybe your will receive.

I’m still sadly on 3.5.4, not sure if there’s anything I can do to make updates appear, probably not. Tried on WiFi, off WiFi, etc. Hoping I get another update soon.

Just tell them you've been waiting forever for the prior OTA's and they will check the system to see what's pending/schedule for your truck, they might not do anything, or they might do something to trigger it.

My last update was in September to 3.5.2.

Mine is an XLT with the 12" screen, so it's possible the update schedules are not the same for Sync 4 vs 4A.

You asked what I wanted to know. I’m also XLT and also 3.5.2. No updates here. Must just be lariat and above

your answer here is to the guy who said it’s not a problem for my IR cameras to be on 24/7. My truck clicks all day long too. (Frequently) so having a stable 12v system seems to be critical/important.
we’ll see it’s been in for 2 weeks for this is due and the latest call yesterday from service desk guy - “does it have spray in bed liner”
note: truck is sitting in their parking lot —> fewer steps to phone to ask me.

I took my truck out of service after it sat there for 4 days without moving and me watching Ford Pass saying it was going into “deep sleep”. No OTA update, still on 3.4.X but there is hope for my update to come on December 31st.

I’m not sure why an appointment is needed when they are just going to park it until they decide the can get to it. @Ford Motor Company, a mobile service for your EV’s would be ideal for software issues.

I've got 3.5.4 listed in my update screen, with a greyed out "update now" button.

Aside from what is listed for 4.1.1 what other changes are in this update?
I'm on 3.5.4 and all is well, why the hurry for this update?

Still waiting for my Blue Cruise map update OTA

Running Revision 610 update by dealer. Have yet to receive one OTA update thus far.
