Left work early and came home to try and trouble shoot this...plugged it in and it started charging with no issues....10 minutes later I get a charge fault notification from the app....it did add 5 miles of range, so it was working for the short amount of time that it was plugged in before the charging fault.

Solid red means issue is with truck, flashing red the issue is with the EVSE
Yeah, it's solid red again now...wondering if I should try and use the mobile charger to see what happens

Note: Charging faults are identified by the
color amber on the charge status indicator.
Faults can occur within the vehicle charging
system or outside the vehicle, such as with
the mobile power cord, charge station or
electrical supply.
Note: If the system detects a fault in the
vehicle charging system at any point in a
charge cycle, the entire charge status
indicator illuminates a solid amber color for
30 seconds and then turns off. If this
happens, unplug the charge coupler and
plug it back into the charge port receptacle.
If the problem persists, have your vehicle

serviced as soon as possible.
Note: If the system detects a fault outside
the vehicle, such as with the charge station
or mobile power cord, the entire charge
status indicator flashes amber continuously
for 30 seconds and then turns off. If this
happens check the mobile power cord,
charge station or electrical supply.

Yeah, mobil charger showing solid red as well....I had a brief glimmer of hope when I got home and it started to charge, but after that initial ten minutes it's just stayed solid red

The good news is that you should be able to use a Public DC Fast Charger if you are in the need of a charge in the mean time. The DCFC bypasses the truck's internal charger.

Many will likely disagree, but I would still put bets on warming the truck batteries up overnight somehow. Others might even suggest to restart the truck sync system. If you have a spare vehicle and you do not have a warm place, see if your local Ford dealer can at least put it inside overnight for you...if they are not too far away.

No expert here, but I’m betting on it being the onboard charging system, not the HVB.

That failure will almost, if not always, present a reduced power % on the dash.

Plug share is showing a DCFC down the road. Ive never had the need to use it, so I never knew it was there. I think I'm going to go try it and see if I can get a charge

No dice...solid red ring, wouldn't connect and to top it off I've got a pending EV connect charge for $25.....hopefully it doesn't go thru

Not sure if it's related to the same issue however, I was getting the red ring of death, charging fault and service vehicle soon. Mine was specific to Fast Charging. My dealership order me a new Charging port. Still waiting for it to be delivered.

I had inability to charge at home but could charge on a Supercharger. Dealer found the trouble: a rodent had lunched on some soy based wire insulation. Dealer spliced around the damage and applied the Honda wire wrap and applied peppermint oil. So far so good.
