My brother got this truck on Friday and noticed some of the bed liner starting to peel next to the cab. When he told the dealer that he bought it from (out of state) they said, "well we sent you a video, so not our problem". I get that there's nothing they can do being out of state, but what a crappy response. I told him to contact a local dealer as it should be a warranty fix. Was curious what y'all think. Including driver side (has peeling) and passenger (no peeling).

To honest, where it’s located I would likely smooth that out with a light sandpaper and let it go. If it continues to peel up, then I’ld fight with dealer for some help.

But that’s just me. You do you.

I'm completely ignorant when it comes to bed liners. His concern is that it would continue to peel off.

It’s hard to know if will continue. That depends on preparation and what caused it to start with. That said I have 20 year hold Kubota side by side that had a small chip occur shortly after spraying the dump bed and it has never gotten any bigger.

Bedliner is covered under the 3yr/36k right? I'd just go to any Ford dealer. Doesn't appear to be a "tough bed" if it's peeling up at the edges.

Dealers suck. That said, I’d expect a tiny bit of peel here and there. I just removed a few little spots on mine and went on with life. If it’s actually peeling more than just a small thin piece around the edges then I’d say something. I’d watch it for a while and see what it does, personally.

Well its a two edge sword. I opted for a aftermarket vs dealer. However, my Pro-power went on fritz, they left a connector loose and my back up sensors are wonky. If the dealer installed, most likely would not have the other issues but a cheaper bedliner??

It's sprayed at the factory.

No, it's a dealer sold and installed item. Probably little to no warranty.

It's also a bed liner and the top section they put it on is difficult to prep and evenly coat so it doesn't peel.

If you select it when you order the truck, it's done at the factory.

I have the optioned bed liner on mine and it looks smooth all the way across. It's listed on the window sticker, so it better be covered 3yr/36k. I Ike the idea of sanding it smooth there. Seems like that ought to prevent it from continuing to peel.

The Window Sticker also can confirm that information.
