Hello,
Long time lurker first time poster here. I purchased a 2024 Lightning XLT on last Saturday (12/28). Yesterday, I had some time, so I was going to get it setup how I'd like. Going through the settings I was looking to turn off the honk for the walk away lock. When I tried to change the audible feedback I got the "This setting isn't available right now" error. I thought OK I'll just disable WAL and reenable it. Once I disabled it I now get the "This setting isn't available right now" error every time I tried to enable it.
Now I don't know that this is related, but after this while changing some other settings, I got the notification that my truck had been updated (ECG-24.2.4.10)
I did call Ford and they had me do a module re-boot using the steering wheel buttons, but there was no change.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this? It looks like the update I got has been out for a while so I would have expected to see at least one post here if that was the issue.
Ford says I'll need to take it to the dealer to have it looked at so that's my next step.
