Anyone signed up for Electrify America's Pass+ (reduced rate per kWh for $4 per month fee) but also use Plug and Charge in FordPass?

I remember there was some info going around that although you can't link your EA+ acct(the one for $4/mth with a reduced rate) you could sign up for some special deal from Ford which was $50/yr. Basically it was $50/yr and you paid the reduced EA+ rate..but also got plug and charge.I have EA+ I used on multiple cars. Can I use Ford Pass on any EV though? I can't right? Wish it could just recognize my EA+ rate while Im there.
Agreed. For the times each year I will be driving a long distance and need to recharge in quantity, that will be worth it.I remember there was some info going around that although you can't link your EA+ acct(the one for $4/mth with a reduced rate) you could sign up for some special deal from Ford which was $50/yr. I wouldn't wind paying what essentially is $2 extra per year($50 vs $48[12x$4]) for the added convenience of plug and charge.
Can anyone confirm?
I agree but then I can't use Ford Pass with my other EVs right? So its really $50/yr just for the Ford and then $48 to EA for my other account I can charge my other EVs with.I wouldn't wind paying what essentially is $2 extra per year($50 vs $48[12x$4]) for the added convenience of plug and charge.
I think you are correct.. I would not expect you to be able to add non ford vehicles to your Ford pass. So you'd have use regular EA+ for the non Ford EVs.I agree but then I can't use Ford Pass with my other EVs right? where do you even see the option to pay Ford $50 for cheaper charging?I agree but then I can't use Ford Pass with my other EVs right? So its really $50/yr just for the Ford and then $48 to EA for my other account I can charge my other EVs with.
@monsterlag It's called thewhere do you even see the option to pay Ford $50 for cheaper charging?
@monsterlag It's called the

and is explained here: membership
edit to add: my truck isn't built yet. It won't let me go to the connected services page. Errors out.
You cannot link EA to FordPass. While you cannot add non-Ford vehicles to FordPass, you can swipe on a charger to activate it and then plug in any EV and pay for the charging with your FordPass account. I don't have any non-Ford EVs, so I haven't tried it, but the charger is activated by the swipe, and then you plug in. I don't believe that it tries to read that it's a non-Ford vehicle, or a vehicle not in your FordPass account.I agree but then I can't use Ford Pass with my other EVs right? No. That option allows you to add another user, i.e. spouse, who can then use THEIR FordPass account to also charge. The prior answer covers it though. Every shared user must have a FordPass account, and you've given them permission when they request it.I think if you turn on “Share charging access” in FordPass, you can charge your other EV using your Blue Oval Charging Network account.
Thanks for the clarification, I don’t even see the $50 option anymore so I am guessing it’s still shelved. Good to know you can still just charge via EA by activating first.You cannot link EA to FordPass. Correct.
Yes, there WAS an option to get that same rate for $50 a year. Then, it didn't work, and was yanked. Now it's being retested.
Yes, it's $2 more per year if you sign up with EA for 12 months. However, EA Pass+ allows you to sign up, then immediately downgrade and it takes effect in 30 days. If you travel all 12 months of the year, the $2 comparison is valid. If you travel 6 months of the year, then it's $24 ($4 x 6) vs. $50.
