So walk away lock is NOT part of the deal? That is what makes this all worth it. I mean I'd prefer not to carry my fob, but truly I love getting out and walking away and not having to dig for the fob.

One note and the reason I lock from the fob, I believe the alarm is not set/activated when locking with the button on the door.
Yeah, I thought Walk Away Locking was included with PaaK but not so (at least yet). So with PaaK you need to touch the door handle button or lock on FordPass. I agree the round center lock on the fob is more convenient.

I do think when you touch the door handle to lock, you do arm the security system. A lot of times, I just hit the 7-8 and 9-0 buttons on the keypad to lock as well. Still, Walk Away is the best option and good for old guys that forget crap...Like me...

For members here with early build dates , I can confirm that PAAK is pushing to some lightnings as early as today . Mine is updating right now .

This update does require downtime on the vehicle .

Do you know what the power up number is for this? My truck is acting like 3.5.3 is new for me, but doesn’t mention PAAK. Am I just behind?

3.5.3 and 3.5.4 came out last week, neither contain PAAK. This isn't rolling out as fast I hoped, nor does it seem they used their Early Access peeps to send it to first.

Mine is still at 3.5.2 from 9/7. I did notice my automatic update schedule got erased when i looked yesterday. That’s probably why I haven’t seen 3.5.3 and 3.5.4. I set it back up again, hopefully the updates come through now.

I got the update, setup Paak with no issue, but now, my nav is in metric.

Settings are in standard/imperial, but the nav only is in metric. Kind of hilarious.

According to an email Early Access did receive it first. Also I received 3.5.4 this morning , which would coincide with my logic about releases like PAAK have a separate number scheme as I received back between 3.5.3 and 3.5.4

I haven't seen either of those updates yet, and have manually checked a couple of time. Still on 3.5.2. The concerning part is that the toggle switch for "Automatic Updates" is unchecking itself, suggesting that the Boolean value isn't changing with that toggle, and that auto updates are set to 'off'. I'm really hoping that they didn't screw up another batch of vehicle updates. PAAK is the one thing I'm waiting on most. If there's a live update, I should be able to manually search for and download it (same as app roll outs for mobile). I don't quite understand how the concept of OTA updates gets so scrambled at auto manufacturers...

My truck would not complete the manually requested updates yesterday, so I gave up and hoped the scheduled update at 02:01 am would process, it did not.

I submitted onboard feedback that it had failed to process yesterday as well, hoping that might tickle the system with feedback, it did no good as of yet.

Today, I deleted the schedule and turned off automatic update, then initiated a new manual update action, that did not complete as well.

Sending another feedback about the failure.

This is disappointing to see. My 6/22 build truck just got 3.5.2 2 weeks ago, and no updates available for .3 or .4 or the PaaK fix. You'd think if there was an update anyone could get it manually at least.

@LightningShow like you 3.5.2 on 9/7. It’s Just waiting for some Ford love. ⚡ not lightning fast with OTA

I had that happen a couple times now. Just set it to metric then back and fixed mine...

I got PAAK update; setup went well. The only issue is when I exit the truck, touching the button to lock the doors doesn't work. I have to wait about 10-20seconds or so before it works.

I haven't seen issue with unlock or starting.

Can you still use the key pad to lock it?
