Phone As A Key (PAAK) update coming starting today to early builds.

I've been stuck on 3.5.2 but got notification of the PAAK update driving home from work and it installed when I got home. Haven't tried it out yet but got notification in the Fordpass app of a successful update.

I'm sitting here waiting.. unpaciently now
We were promised late summer update, 1 month late but that's ok at least they are doing it.
BUT I still have no signs of the update coming to my truck. Wifi on, full strength at home and at work, auto updates ON.
Truck plugged in at work and at home. All the time.
Am I missing something? Other OTAs were fine but not the one I want doesn't exist.
Any hints ? Thank you

I received the update on my Lightning, is there anything I need to do, any settings to turn on? I already had my phone linked to my driver profile.

Received my update last evening. The download and set-up were flawless. I have successfully added two phones to the system. Also, the backup passcode worked as advertised. Nicely done Ford.

My PAAK update came a few days ago. I've not yet implemented PAAK (as it needs to be done outside and my car is in a large garage a few blocks away.)

Finally got mine about an hour ago. Setup was fine and seems to work great. I could surely be wrong, but I feel like the downloads are not triggered by wifi. Both updates I have received have been after driving around in an area with good cellular service (my garage teeters on 1 bar/ 0 bars of cell service, but strong wifi). I got the PaaK update after returning from inside a store.

Now, where is my 3.5.3 and 3.5.4?

I'd like to add, I don't see anywhere in the app for phone as a key or in the truck. I did get the update.

Update: I had to delete the Ford Pass app and reinstall it. Now I see a link to setup phone as a key on the home screen.

I agree it seems the updates seem to come more from the LTE connection vs Wifi- why they make a difference doesn't even make sense. You'd think they favored wifi.

However I'll say Tesla is the same with their roll outs. Rarely do large groups get it at once. They are sparse at first, and it never seems to make sense who gets them first. Takes them a while to get the whole fleet covered. I know they have the infrastructure to do it faster, but it just takes a while.

I get that these first few updates from Ford they need to make sure the infrastructure is working well, but it makes no sense that they aren't coming in order - none of them are. It seems they would build on top of each other, but not so, so far.

Mystery to me. Noticed a few entries in Facebook group this afternoon receiving the update. Went back out to truck it was waiting for auto update time, so I just hit update now (or similar).

be nice if was like iPhone and when you say check for update it would be there on day 1.

Think you might be on to something. I have poor AT&T LTE coverage at my place. Wasn't getting any new updates even with strong WiFi coverage - been checking often the last couple of days. Took a drive today and stopped at a shopping mall for about an hour - happened to notice the truck was getting strong LTE coverage there. When I got home, noticed that 3.5.3 had been applied. Still waiting on 3.5.4 and PaaK.

Just got 3.5.3 on my June delivery truck. First update since Sept 7 which was the update with the less aggressive 1PD.
