Is there some voodoo dance I have to do in order for my truck to remember that I have charged at home? I have the Ford CSP and have charged at home many times. It just doesn’t see it. Every time I try to add a location it just shows other places or says I need to charge somewhere before I can set a location. The charge logs do show up in Ford Pass, but the truck still won’t recognize the location.

Something funky going on. FP shows blank page when calling up FCSP today. Just shut power off to charger. Will cycle it back on in an hour or so.

Make sure your connectivity is enabled in the truck and your phone has gps signal. You can then set the location through fordpass.

The truck is what needs GPS signal in order to “remember” a location. I don’t think the phone matters.

I’m able to set my location at other places, just not the house. It’s odd.

When you’re home, does the nav show you’re in the right location?

It does. I also set the location in the Nav system as my “Home” thinking that might talk with the charging app to set it but that doesn’t seem to make a difference either.

2024 Ford F150 Lightning Flash
My first post! Hope to learn a lot here.

I just want to chime in here and say just got a 2024 F150 Lightning Flash (traded in a Model 3). So far overall this Truck is amazing.

I am having this same issue where the Charging controls on the Truck will not let me set a Home location at my house (nor do any other frequent locations show up), so that I can begin to configure my charging times etc. I have Charged to 100% twice so far at home as I read I need to do that first so the options appear (I want to set an 80% cap, and only during a certain overnight window). Every tutorial video I've seen has the options shown on the dashboard as they should be , but it's missing on mine.

I'll be watching this thread to see if anyone figures anything out.

@fordtruckperson Congrats on new '24 Flash.

To set up a charging location you have to first be plugged in to a charger at that location. Then you can save it and rename it later if you like.

Thank you for the response. To add more clarity here. The truck is currently plugged into my level2 charging at home. Here are photos while it is plugged in at home in my garage and at 100% charge. Additionally, all gps and cellular data services are Enabled, and the Truck is connected to my wifi at home. Issue remains regardless of whether it is on my home Wifi or not.

I am not sure if it related but I am also not able to use the Navigation features at all even though it is enabled and the service plan is active.

It shows I do not even have the option to Add a Location:

Hmm. Seems like the Navigation has to be working so it can get the GPS to offer a charge location. Sometimes the default name of a location is just the GPS coordinates (can easily edit the name later).

Been a while since I did this. Hopefully others will chime in.

You can also check how many satellites the Navigation is picking up. Start with the Tools icon in lower left of the screen. May have to be parked outside to get good reading.

It's funny I just found this. Nav and Satellite Status will work if I unplug the charger. Getting great Satellite signal in my garage.

The GPS address on mine is off by two houses, so I just set my home at the wrong address, worked every time after that.
I have the same problem with delivery drivers that just use GPS for addresses and don't bother to look up at the house number.

That's the critical point, my garage parking spot is GEO'd to my neighbor's house, accept the inaccuracies, take the GPS coordinates as they are.
