Do the outlets in the frunk work while driving? About to take a long trip and thought about plugging in a small cooler.

Yes, but they are limited to 400w.

What about the bed outlets? Any reduction to their output while driving? (Yes I could RTFM, but this is more fun.)

no, only the Frunk outlets are limited... I tow my camper and POWER it from the bed while traveling, with no issues, even if needing to run the roof air conditioner, fridge, water heater, fans, etc... if you have the optional 9.6kw ProPower output, all those rear bed outlets are 30amp output each, or 4 @ 120v and 1@ 240v... up to 7.2kw combined(60 amps @ 120v equivalent)...

This is fantastic to know. I believed as much but haven't tested it yet.

yes, I've tested it all.

The front Frunk/Cab outlets originate power from the front-end INVERTER, which is 2.4kw, or 20 amps @ 120v... the only 'limitation' is to the outlets within the Frunk WHEN the hood is closed.
400watts, or about ~7amps... probably enough to do most small things, but not enough for a heat-based device on HIGH, such as a COOKING device, HotPot, etc.

The rear bed outlets, though, if you have 9.6kw Optional ProPower, originate power from the rear-end INVERTER. One interesting find, though, is that while the 4 'regular' 20amp outlets are what seems normal, they actual provide up to the full 30amp 120v output, EACH. Most folks would probably never use this much from a single 120v outlet, and it's actually DIFFICULT to, UNLESS you use a multi-outlet adapter and several HEAT-based devices or appliances all on 'HIGH', etc. Not likely, but it's available if ever needed.
These 'regular' outlets share the same power that the 30amp 240v outlet gets, which is why 2 of the outlets are on one 'side' of the 30amp 240v power wire, for 120v power each, and the other two on the other 'side'.
ALSO, you can pull 240v power from the REGULAR outlets, with the proper ADAPTER, if you so choose, too. Plug in from one side of the 'A' outlets, and plug in the other side from the 'B' outlets.... it works.

Do you know if Pro Power in the bed remains powered during DCFC?

Do you know anything about this warning from page 186 of the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Owners Manual?

PPO is great. I use it to power the coffee maker in the frunk, internet in the bed, and camper sitting behind the truck. It’s powering the connection I’m using to post this from North Platte, NE. I wish I didn’t have to keep the truck running, but it’s a heckuva lot quieter and easier than running a generator.

The frunk outlets are good to power a cooler while driving, but I’d suggest getting a decent 12v unit if you’re doing this often. I wish there were a way to keep the 120v outlets hot all the time
