Which models are eligible to receive BlueCruise 1.4?
BlueCruise 1.4 will be available on the following equipped Ford vehicles via software updates starting in early 2024:
  • Mustang Mach-E model years 2021-2023
  • F-150 Lightning truck model years 2022-2023
  • Gas-powered F-150 truck model years 2021-2023
Note: This is a phased rollout. Not all customers will receive this update at the same time. Check the FordPass** App or your in-vehicle settings for your latest software updates.

Hopefully it will be available on FDRS Soon(tm)

This is Ford’s Canadian site. I don’t see it on the US site. Is it there too?

Yes
This would such wonderful news if:
  • They didn't say the same thing about every update that they failed to deliver
  • Early 2024 is over in two weeks.
People who have been manually updating their truck with FDRS report really great improvements. But for the other 99% of owners, nobody should be expecting to receive any Ford software update in any window of time, ever. You get what you get, maybe, eventually.

The same information is on the American site.

Don't hold your breath or you'll be the one turning Blue

Seriously though, we need an update. The existing version is somewhat lacking and covers fewer areas than it did a year ago. Seems to have gone backwards, so I'm hoping early 2024 means sometime this year

That sucks, I'm driving across the country, 2400 miles in 5 Days, and having Bluecruise upgraded woukd have been nice. It's decent as is, but the new versions and their lower driver interventions would have been sorely appreciated.

If I had to guess Ford will be the mystery OEM that is gonna be licensing Tesla Full Self Driving, which means it wouldn’t surprise me if BlueCruise is abandoned completely

Dear god I hope your wrong. BC is far superior for how I use it compared to FSD. FSD is a joke, there are so many better systems out there, including NVIDIA that uses Lidar. I had a Tesla and had FSD and found phantom breaking and other features just down right scary to the point someone almost ran me off the road cause they thought I was break checking them. I also had FSD beta and that was just laughable. It was like a 16 year learning to drive but instead of learning it just kept making all the bad choices. I would drop Ford if they did that.
