I have gotten the 80mph limit for mykey on mine after like the second or third update. It is only when you use your phone as a key exclusively. I tried setting it to off on the screen but it just goes back to 80mph. Amore recent update has made it flicker back and forth between off and 80. I have asked about it and Ford does not know.

Perfect! I like that and the articulated ratcheting end will be beneficial. Good catch!
Well, several of us with Mach-Es sprung for these after the recent "lockout" software issue so we could disconnect the 12V battery. So I put the ratchet one in the MME and the other one in the Lightning. But I'm about to install a battery shutoff switch on the Lightning anyway to make that one even easier to reset.

Do you have another (unrestricted key) available, have that with you in the truck when adjusting / disable the messed up MYKEY settings

I have another fob that came with the truck and no difference. I have deleted my phone as a key and reconfigured it again and no difference. The Ford Dealer has no clue what it could be.

I finally had the chance to test this with the key fob in the truck and am having the exact same experience as flux…. Constant flicker. I now driving with my fob until it gets ‘fixed’. I will be reaching out to @Ford Motor Company next.

So I'm not having this issue, at least that I'm aware of. I would like to know more about this resetting the vehicle. Sounds like I should always keep a 10mm wrench in the frunk. Anyone care to link some details on how exactly you should reset the vehicle? I have applied about 4 updates in the last week, so I'm thinking it might be a good thing to do this as a precaution - especially since I plan on taking a trip soon.

Reboot is not the same as Reset.

Reboot the truck systems, by disconnecting the negative terminal at the 12v LVB in the frunk, simply removes power from all modules, for a complete shutdown, then restoring the negative terminal, allows all standby devices to powerup, and later when you key-on the truck, the rest of systems also start up. Doing this may require you to retrain the Frunk closure routine and the door window bounceback calibrations if power is left off to long.

Reset, involves wiping the driver profiles and key associations.

Reset of programming in modules goes beyond basic owner skills, IE. folks who play with forscan and FDRS, that is a total different level of module programming and resetting to as built conditions.

Thanks for the clarification. So just disconnect the negative terminal for x period of time (I'll probably do 30+ minutes as I'll be doing other things) and this kind of gives everything a nice clean reboot. Kind of like a cold boot on PC's from back in the day.
