Strange. I seem to meet the criteria with a ‘23 Lariat with BC expiring June 2026 but no option for a free year. :-(

For those wondering what it looks like on the server backend.....if you've taken the freebie extension, your list of subscriptions now shows two BlueCruise subscriptions...one is your paid subscription and the other one is the trial.

And I don't think anybody is going to get an email notification until the original expiration date arrives, and the extension then comes into effect. That's when you'll likely get an email saying that you've 'renewed'.

This is what I think you need to pay attention to:

You are counted as a Paid Subscription now and likely signed up for automatic renewal. Set a calendar reminder to review your options at least a month before the expiration.

Not working here on web or app:

We have a 2023 Lariat (produced Nov 2023), bought in Nov 2024 with the 3 year trial.
I'm all for free, but not paying $500/year since it's not supported here in W. Mass except on I91.

If you go to Connected Services in the FP app, you should see, under BlueCruise, your expiration date (of whatever the current trial or paid subscription you're on now) and tapping the right arrow to see the details you should be offered the option to extend it. You may also see a "Buy" button next to the BlueCruise heading. Selecting that should take you to the options for full annual price of $495, or a monthly option, or my favorite, the 0$ annual subscription.

Tried what you recommend. I only get two options, one for $49.99/month and another for $495/yr. II don’t see anything for the $0 annual. I think I’ll give them a call.

I doubt those with the 90-day trial will get this. But if you paid for the 3-year, then maybe?

OTOH, you have always had BC 1.2 with lane-change assist, etc. So maybe Ford thinks you're good.

Just the initial trial when truck was purchased.

Back in the day when internet was just becoming a thing, a local internet company insisted on auto pay for a $30 a month bill. Three months into the service they hit me for $900! I did get my money back and I cancelled the service. Never again will I trust any company with auto pay, I don’t care what the discount is, in my opinion and experience it’s never worth the risk of the damage they can do.
How many times have you called a company and get connected to a foreign call center, are they under the same laws as you are? I doubt it!
