Am I the only one that keeps forgetting that I have a Frunk?

The frunk is where I keep all the truck stuff: ratchet straps, gloves, etc. I don't have a tonneau cover, so the frunk is the out-of-sight lockable storage area.

To me, everyday driving the frunk is mostly for storage of cables, adapters, golf clubs, etc.. But on trips, that is where I love the frunk. All luggage goes up there so we have plenty of space in the cab.

I use the Frunk most, then the passenger section of the cabin, and rarely the bed.

I use it all the time but... when I pack up for trip to the lake and load the bed to capacity I do forget that I have space up front.

Same here… I use it all the time but today I was loading up a bunch of boxes in the back of the cab as it has been super windy and I didn’t want anything to blow away or get out my straps. I had two boxes left and I was about to put them in the passenger seat and then I remembered…..oh yeah I can just put them in the Frunk….

I've driven pickup trucks for 50 years now. The Lightning is obviously my first electric. I keep loading up the bed and cab with stuff and running out of space, not once thinking about the big empty area behind the front grille. Does anybody else do this, or is it just me?

It's just you. Seriously, we use our frunk all the time. We even use it for take out food that might leave a lingering odor in the cab.

I have a wolfbox freezer/refrigerator in the frunk. It works well, I leave it plugged in all of the time which means that Pro Power asks me if I want to turn on the frunk outlets, so it is sort of a remote control refrigerator. (The wolf box is an actual refrigerator so it cools really fast.)

It is great for trips, it is more weatherproof than a tonneau cover.
