I have never seen that, but I have a dealer login. Try restarting the laptop.
Started fresh today same result. Could this be a result of the latest update FDRS 40.4.5? All this seems to have happened after this update. I tried submitting a FDRS feedback concern report and the program said it could not submit. Potentially uninstall and reinstall?

You can try that, yes. I have seen a bunch of people reporting login issues with these newer versions. Not sure how to overcome it. Same thing is going on with another member on the ICE forum right now.

I wonder if Ford has changed policy on who can update what using FDRS? I used the rotunda(?) to submit a trouble report, I haven't heard back yet.

From my understanding, it is due to an error on Ford's side. They need to fix it.

Timeline to fix could be an issue although they do seem to update FDRS fairly often.

I'm sure enough people have submitted a ticket at this point where they know about it. I wonder if going back to an older of version of FDRS would circumvent the issue?

Can you go back? I didn't know you could move back once the latest software was downloaded.

FDRS? Oh yea. I'd have to dig through the F150 ICE forum to find the links to the one versions, but you can. I'm still on a 39.x.x version.

Are all mongoose cables the same? I see some advertised for Honda, GM, Toyota...are they all the same or is there something different for each brand? If I buy one for the Lighting, could I also use it on a Honda?

No, they are brand specific. I think the Ford one also works on Mazda (strangely enough), but that's it.

I haven't had a chance to test mine due to the "hold" on powertrain updates
So, I ran what few updates I had pending this morning (door modules and HVAC) so nothing super long, but the IOTA did it's job just fine, held voltage (per FDRS) at 12.8-13V (as mentioned in previous post, I left the IOTA "stock" at 13.6V and didn't use the "boost" jumper).

Pics of my "update case" and the IOTA setup (which takes a full 5s to plug in).

Today I had partial success getting updates applied, but some modules didn't install. The GWM, TCU, IPMA, and a couple of others installed just fine. Then I tried to update the CMR module. It ran for four hours and seemed just to be recycling through the same commands, though there aren't any indicators of its progress.

I thought my power supply would keep the battery in good state of charge, but it wasn't able to keep up, so I had to cancel the update. After I cancelled the update, I get the purple DTC indicator, so that module seems to be offline right now. Unfortunately I have a trip this coming weekend and I don't want to drive with an offline module.

I'm letting the vehicle recharge the 12V battery overnight and will try to find a better power supply in town in the morning, but I'm not hopeful. I am disappointed that I'll probably not be able to finish before my 2-day license expires.

And to top it all off, I noticed that the battery has a noticeable rounding on the sides, which I've only ever seen with failing batteries. Might have to purchase a new battery as well (I don't have time to interact with dealers to try to get them to replace it under warranty).

Is that an 8ga connector set? Or is it 6ga?
