Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

So I've got ... drum roll..... three new icons . Not sure if this enables blue cruise 1.2 or 1.3 but the update didn't get rid of my Forscan version. New animations between screens ? The nbc news app (or whatever that was) is gone under entertainment. And my sync is showing version 1076 after the update.

It does not enable BC. That will be an IPMA update and then a future APIM update will add the toggle switches to the touchscreen to turn the new stuff off and on.

I know how to enable to the toggle for WAL with FORScan, but in the case of the new Mustang, when you add the toggle for WAL and you turn WAL on and off, it would break WAL completely and you would have to re-enable it with FORScan. Not sure if this APIM update will allow the toggle to work on these trucks.,

6.14 is the next to last step before you will get another update to get the updated blue cruise. My 21 mache GTPE got 6.14 a few months ago and still no 1.2 or 1.3 blue cruise, but maybe 6 more months

Another change I noticed is when you put the truck in reverse and the cameras come on the screen, all of the different camera angle buttons appear next to the 360 camera now.
I don't think the buttons were there before, but I could be wrong. I thought they only appeared when you manually clicked the camera button at the top.

You remember correctly. Took some screenshots pre-update. Putting in reverse, you get the 'hamburger' icon. Click it and the cams show up.

I just got the UI update OTA. Are you saying Walk Away Lock should work? Or is this only if you did the BCM update via FDRS (and have the magic username/password required)?

BCM needs to be updated.

Got mine installed finally after doing the FDRS method again this evening.

My OTA method failed earlier this afternoon with what looks like a checksum failure on one of the files.

So retried the FDRS method and had success this time.

Came back out to the truck and finished up the APIM update to Sync 1076 and afterward since the APIM hadn't dropped off the list I re-ran the network scan and a new GWM popped up. One file about 170mg or so.

Truck is sucking that update in as I write this. So for those who've done the APIM update with FDRS you may not be finished yet

Gateway revision is now rev. "-RCJ" if anybody's keeping track.

So this should lift the ban on PCM programming, right?

Well if we were all waiting for a gateway update that made the SOBDM and SOBDMC DTCs go away before 23B57 was resumed…I think this was it. I’ll go for a drive tomorrow and check for DTCs afterwards, but based on what I’ve seen so far, I do think this was the fix.

Ford was really cutting it close when they said the fix for the SOBDM would be available in August.

170mb file installed via USB in 7 minutes.
