Mine is in "order accepted by dealer" with priority code of 1. Just curious, is there a chance of build this year ?

Build...yes. Delivery...highly unlikely if you haven't been scheduled yet.

I am priority 1 as well, I imagine many of us who ordered last week will get scheduled this Thursday for November builds assuming no options. It seems like things like steering wheel heating or bed scales are still slowing people down. I did a stock Lariat ER build which seems to schedule the fastest (go figure). Fingers crossed it'll arrive before the end of the year.

my build sheet from the dealer had heating steering deleted and $140 credit listed.

I'm thinking the combo of the price increases, loss of tax credit, feature deletion(due to chip issues) and general frustration with the lengthy process is all going to add up to numerous cancellations or people moving on.

I'll bet Ford is going to get thru all the reservations sooner rather than later....

I agree with you 100% that the cancellations are going to go up. All your points are valid, but you left out some other important ones.

You can only now order a Lariat or Platinum, so your cost starts at $75K. There are not a lot of people that simply cannot afford to pay $75K for a pickup. I would estimate that about 40% of the people that made the reservation was because Ford advertised it at under $40K.

Interest rates have more than doubled since the start of the year and will continue to go up for the foreseeable future.

The country is in a recession and will continue to be in one for the next couple of quarters.

A holiday miracle - I Picked up my Truck 12/14, just before a 2 day winter rain storm rolled in. I can't believe I got it this year, 19 months after my reservation. I'm so excited and very happy with it so far, only driven it home and around town. It drives like a dream, smooth and quiet, with so much power just a small pedal push away. Seems taller and bigger than my 2015 FX4. I like the Anti-matter Blue paint, interior finishes and moonroof. The user interface and controls have been daunting to figure out so far; but, I can see that it will be functional and somewhat efficient once I learn my way around.

Waiting for the Ford Charge Station Pro to be shipped from Sunrun. Sunrun says that Ford won't let them ship until the purchase is confirmed, so you can expect a lag between Lightning delivery and home charging capability. I have my own electrician scheduled to install the FCSP next Tuesday... I hope Sunrun and Fedex get it here in time!

I'll send some photos when we get a sunny day. Thanks to all administrators and posters on this forum that kept me company, informed, and calm as I waited and dreamed of my EV Pickup. I hope all of your vehicles arrive soon too! Happy Holidays
