There are none.

There are none, it's updating now I think.
I did update now but I came home low SOC so I'm charging, can you update while charging?
Usually, but not when DCFC on inhibit use updates

I have received and update all my updates while plugged in and I’m sure most of those were during active L2 charging.

I've had the 6.8.0 update pending since yesterday after failing about a dozen times in December. By the sounds of it, that was a good thing.

This round failed 6 times with a silly message that another process interrupted..... Not sure what voodoo was in the way but it finally went through this time. My 12V SOC was right up at the top with a trickle charger so it was something else.
6.13.0 next....

@rugedraw If you have a few minutes, I wouldn't mind knowing what caused the failures so I can help the next one along more precisely if possible.

The last time it failed at 11:06 am, this is what it reported to the cloud:

"errorCode":"InhibitRequiredHvNotQualifiedLvLow(204)""totalLvBatteryCapacity":"33""currentLvBatteryDataQuality":"NotWithinSpec""currentLvBatteryVoltage":"12""currentLvBatterySoc":"66""currentLvBatteryTemperature":"3""dynamicPostUpdateSocThreshold":"35""estimatedTimeToActivate":"420""estimatedTimeIncludingRollback":"750""currentDrainRate":"50"

When it went through at 2:39pm, this is what it reported:

"groupId":"1""totalLvBatteryCapacity":"33""currentLvBatterySoc":"86""currentHvBatterySoc":"68""currentHvBatteryEnergy":"140950""availableLvBatteryCapacity":"28380"

The battery capacity was the same, but the SoC was 20% higher at the time it went through.

Thanks a million @rugedraw Interesting, I had a 10 amp charger on the 12v since first thing this morning. It turned off at 11am. My SOC and voltage was higher at 11am than at 2:30pm based on my independent battery monitor.

Hoping the CSP for the BMS shunt will fix that. :)

I don't know how accurate those readings the vehicles sends to the cloud are. I checked a failed OTA for a member on the ICE forums today and his battery capacity was reported at 79 out of 80 and the SoC was at 100% and the update still failed due to battery conditions. Go figure.

LOL yep, that sounds about right. Is the "totalLvBatteryCapacity" a percentage or is it out of 80? If mine is 33 then something is amiss. It is a new battery on December 23rd, only a month old. Maybe I need to do a BMS reset.

The EVs bring a smaller 12v battery. 35 is max for you guys, so 33 is healthy. The ICE trucks bring 70 with the OEM H6 battery. The guy I mentioned upgraded to an H7 which capacity is 80. It measures amp hours.

Mine has failed for a few days as well. I did get a letter in the mail about a recall which states theirs a recall on the SOC module - it’s either under stating or over stating the actual SOC which can cause updates to fail …per the letter. My office called me so I haven’t seen the letter but it would make sense …up until now non of my updates had failed like this one has the past few days.

Back in December mine finally updated to 6.8.0.after at least 13 days of attempts and various techniques. What finally worked was the slow charge method. Set my Emporia EVSE to charge at 24 amps and started about 9:00 pm. It was scheduled to finish charging at 2:11 so I scheduled the update for 2:00 am. Pleased to see it finally successful the next day.
I had the BMS replaced a few weeks ago (what you call the SOC module). There's a huge thread on that. Hoping it does fix my issues going forward.

Sorry if this has been covered and I missed it. It’s hard to keep track of all the changes. I believe this is the thread where many of us learned that the charge level on the dashboard on the Ford website was actually the SOC for the LVB, not the HVB. Except for a Canadian writer, whose charge level showed Km, not a percentage. My dashboard on the website now shows miles (equal to the miles shown on the app), and not a percentage (which it used to show). Do we know what changed? Is there now no way to see LVB SOC without a reader? I’ve had no updates to the truck. Thx.
