We took delivery of our Lightning last month and have a big road trip set for the end of this month. Reallyyy hoping we see BC 1.3 in the next two weeks 🤞 .

Haven't received an update on the Lightning yet but I will start plugging it in more. I feel like that will help with the large number of items needed to get an update installed.

99% of the time time, OTA's that require vehicle inhibition fail due to low battery SoC. I can confirm with your VIN, but I'm confident that's the reason.

You don't get updates on a new purchase for several months. Based on previous experience I estimate about 6 months.
Might be a YMMV issue. My build date was 02/23, but my truck wasn't complete until 04/23 because of the Dearborn battery fire. Took delivery 5/5/23. Got Power Up 4.2.1.1 on 6/12/23, 4.2.1.2 on 6/27, 4.2.2.2 on 7/19, 4.2.3.1 on 7/28, then no updates until the end of October when I got the Digital Owner's Manual and Power Up updates 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3. Got revised 6.2 on ~12/1 (didn't show up as a FordPass message). And 6.4 just today.

Got revised 6.2 on ~12/1 (didn't show up as a FordPass message). And 6.4 just today.
Recently these updates are not leaving a record in the message center.
My last record was for 6.1.0 on 10/19

I don't seem to be getting half the updates. I am not too concerned about most of these except the one Ford said we will be getting in the 4th quarter (Related to CSP 23B50) to remedy charge port and cables burning and melting. Anyone knows what is the OTA number for that one is? Anyone has already received it? What a S. Show.

Sounds like a good defense in court if no one can tell what was changed or what was the update number.

It is also interesting that on some of these updates, you can't tell what is being changed on the screen before the update so you can refuse it. It is really an all or nothing and hope for the best deal.

I’ve always received the updates without any issues. I can’t get this 6.8 version to install. I keep getting the process interrupted message. I’ll try again tomorrow.

It has failed a bunch of times due to low SoC. The notes on the latest failed attempt read:

If you have one, throw a charger on the 12v battery overnight. If you have never reset the BMS on your truck, then I would recommend you fully charge your battery to 100%, and then perform the BMS reset procedure.

@GDN Looks like this OTA will replace the old IPC update that stopped being rolled out.
That was definitely the hope and wish, First that Ford would build these on top of each other and then for the masses that didn't get this first go round, should now get caught up.

I just got in from a short trip, driving home from the airport 6.8 downloaded for me and should be installed now - it's been about 30 minutes. I'll have to go check out the updates.

I would try it first without the reset procedure personally. That tells the system your battery is new. I was able to get an earlier update to install after 25 failed attempts due to low 12V by just putting a charger on it overnight so it was fully charged by the 1 am time.

My 6.8 also failed earlier today so have the 12V charger on it and will see what happens tonight.

Keep the faith... LOL. I was on 6.1 until last week. My truck would not accept any updates, even at the dealership and they were stumped as well. But they also had several customers whose trucks would not update, would just give some nondescript error code. Every now and then my truck would download an update, but nothing would install. Then the re-release of 6.2 magically installed and I've been getting a flood of updates since. I think I've had almost one a day since! Most of them minor like the DCFC update and I received 6.4 today and now have the ability to see charge info in Apple Maps navigation and charger routing. That's been the best UI upgrade thus far.

I was going to guess I was pretty much all caught up until I get here today and see that someone just got 6.8...
