Sorry if this has been covered and I missed it. It’s hard to keep track of all the changes. I believe this is the thread where many of us learned that the charge level on the dashboard on the Ford website was actually the SOC for the LVB, not the HVB. Except for a Canadian writer, whose charge level showed Km, not a percentage. My dashboard on the website now shows miles (equal to the miles shown on the app), and not a percentage (which it used to show). Do we know what changed? Is there now no way to see LVB SOC without a reader? I’ve had no updates to the truck. Thx.

I just received 6.8.0 last nite. Why did it take ford so long to send to my truck?

Brake Coach 🤔 after updates

i’ve always kept brake coach off.
frequently after updates it’s reset to on.

interestingly it was turned on either when 6.8 initiated download, or after download and before install.

once again turned it off. Install completed after turning off truck.

brake coach remained off after update.

i’ve learned to set my expectations low with bugs 🐜 and other programing related things from Ford - to me just another little oddity.

We've been paused for a while and now it seems the updates have resumed rolling out over the past couple of weeks.

Brake Coach 🤔 after updates
Finally received 6.8 last night and yes, every time I get an update, the brake coach needs to be turned off. A minor nusence, but a nusence nonetheless. Just happy to finally have received the update as I'd been stuck on the previous version since it was still relatively warm in New England.

I'm pretty sure I posted that before we knew it would skip to 1.4, but yes. I don't see any difference in the IPC with BC 1.3 or 1.4, but it is indeed a different update than what comes on vehicles that shipped with BC 1.3 from factory.

Like several others noted above, I got the 6.8 Power-Up notice, and did a update now successfully last night.

Going off your signature, you received 6.4 and then 6.8, skipped 6.5?

I didn't think 6.5 contained much anyway, I'm on 6.4 right now (rcvd December 12) and waiting for the next one. Hopefully start seeing some 2023's on this thread as majority of these reporting successful updates that I see are the 2022's.

holiday network freeze has been lifted. Got 6.8.0 yesterday.

My BMS is the recalled part and has been acting funky lately. All of a sudden about a week ago my LVB started reporting 10-15% lower than actual (tested resting voltage several times and was typically showing 12.7v+ /80%+-). I have the Ford Home Assistant integration and set up a nice dashboard (see attached)

The first attempt to install 6.8.0 failed and the LVB was showing down to 40% after the attempt. I charged the LVB with my Schumacher and reset the BMS. the LVB was reporting 90% when the wife left for the school run the next morning.
I manually started the update when she got home and went right through. LVB reported 75% after the update. Took the truck for a spin and LVB was back up to 90%.

probably going to order the improved BMS part and swap it myself. For ~$20 it’s right on the edge of being worth the time and headache of the dealer. Unfortunately I don’t have mobile service near me

I don’t think anybody got both 6.4 and 6.5. It seems like maybe they were the same features but were for different hardware configurations. I also went from 6.4 to 6.8. I don’t have Bluecruise so I wonder if that is the difference.

Well, I have Bluecruise and 6.4.0 so I don't think that's the difference. I've also seen plenty of people receive both 6.4.0 and 6.5.0, those who receive the updates in the earlier waves. If they are skipping 6.5.0 at this point I'm more inclined to think it's due to a decent amount of reported issues with temporarily losing the front motor and seeing 56% power. For some reason I just like looking for the pattern in all this OTA nonsense and trying to figure out the puzzle.

It's a shame Ford doesn't release the updates as a manual download/USB update option like Sync 2/3. For those who want the latest that don't want to be stuck in queue waiting for an OTA.

Thanks Maquis. Took me a while to find that page. I assume "Tires Good" means pressure are within spec?
Mine are kind of low on pressure, not enough to trip the instrument cluster alert, that might cause this condition code to change if one or more tire get too low.
