Half of their problem is they shouldn't stop the frunk from closing just because you've taken the truck out of park. Finish the close regardless of Park or moving to drive. I've experienced it. Louder beeps is just annoying, don't be so short sighted to stop the close and have a need for a notification. You truly have to question the brain power behind these decisions.

Good suggestion. Hope Ford will take note. Perhaps don't let the truck come out of Park until the Frunk is finished closing instead of freaking out and jumping into panic.

I did every update available in FDRS on my 23 Lariat ER built in September 23 and I still don’t have the State of charge percentage displayed on the regular battery level gauge… Is it a setting or did they seriously just arbitrarily add this to some vehicles and not others?

It's NOT a setting, why the later builds are missing this from the inventory of updates is not clear.

So it’s safe to assume from what I have read on here it’s not uncommon for the 23s not to have the new SOC on dash?

I haven't seen a single '23 have it outside of someone who may have done the fdrs updates themselves or by the dealer. I'm willing to be proved wrong.

There is nothing you can do but wait for the OTA which brings this change to the instrument panel.

And you’ll get it - with 6.8 I think it is…not this old one.
