I don't know.Broken micro switch or other component ?
The dealer changed the whole port hardware is that a fix for everyone? For those following along it home, it was not the software. It was a physical problem with the charging port hardware, which has been replaced and solved the issue.
That's what they told me, but they gave me the impression it was just what happened to my truck. Meaning yours may or may not be damaged, I have no idea what would have damaged mine. It looked fine from the parts I could see.The dealer changed the whole port hardware is that a fix for everyone?
Sounds like you got it download it but it won’t install. I can’t even get it to say that there is an update.Couldn't get the update tried multiple times the update screen is now grayed out shows the update but it says no updates available
WTH
I got the same thing with 23-PU0306-BCF-DET. Tried for at least 10 days to download and failed so it gave up. Good news it moved on to 22-PU0930-RBA-CHM which gives the SOC display. That one did download. This is what I have

does leaving the fob in the truck make it so it won’t update? I may be weird but I just leave my fob in my truck all the time. In 25 years it’s never been stolen. My update has been stuck for monthstwo of my three failures happened with my fobs wrapped in aluminum foil away from the garage. I talked to someone at Ford and the response was that the precondition were not met and it would be pushed again. They would not give me further details on what precondition was not met.
No. My truck is parked in my garage with the fob in the cup holder and I get updates.does leaving the fob in the truck make it so it won’t update? I may be weird but I just leave my fob in my truck all the time. In 25 years it’s never been stolen. My update has been stuck for months

Agreed, my truck is a year behind in updates, but I have none of the problems people are talking about and I don’t really care for Phone as a Key, so I guess the failed updates are a blessingMach-E forum. Known issue, handshakes with some chargers. Used to be fine, I think a prior update broke it, and this fixes it.
I tried everything to get it to update, but I have never left a fob in it, insurance doesn’t pay when you do that. I tried putting a charger on the 12v battery every night for 2 weeks, charging to 85% every night before the 2am update schedule, turning lights off manually, being on WiFi… All the crap they told me, even charging to 100%. None of it helped. Then one day when I was out of town parked in a friends driveway, battery at 67% and no WiFi, and that’s when it did the update. So I think they’re grabbing at straws to try and explain their software shortcomings. It literally updated at 2pm with none of the conditions met when it was set to update at 2am, maybe the times are backwards? No. My truck is parked in my garage with the fob in the cup holder and I get updates.
