So curious , did you use a tender and did you get your update?
I left a jump pack on overnight a couple of weeks ago. Well over 12 hours later, resting battery voltage went from 12.3V to 12.7V. The update installed manually w/UPDATE NOW button, parking brake on, manually turned off headlight switch.

I had a previous update that needed to run first. Shortly after this update popped up ND installed without any issues.

Installed last night. I had the truck unplugged and noticed it used up 1% SoC. I'd never seen it drop before.

I have also tried everything to get this update to complete but nothing has worked. I am waiting for the dealer to get back to me if I need to bring it in. I've reset the BMS, long drives, connected a battery pack to the 12V. Update still fails.

Will watch thread to see if any other solutions will work.
Finally took my truck into the dealer to take a look if there are issues. They didn't find anything and said the 12v battery is fine but the update will not install. The technician had to call the "Ford HOTLINE" and wait for a response so I was going to pick up truck while they wait. When I arrived to pick up my truck, the technician said that the truck just updated by itself and he didn't do anything. Strange how this happens.

I've had other software related issues with this truck and hoping they fix the software bugs. Other issues: 360 camera all of a sudden jarbled and cameras rotated different ways, passenger window will go up and sometimes open all the way down by itself.

Whatever update I got immediately prior to this one -- maybe a week ago -- seems to have broken AC charging on my 2022 Lariat Lightning. I was hoping this update would fix it, but no luck. DC max speed is, in fact, better -- up to about 120kWh -- but I STILL can't get an AC charger to work -- I have two at home that are different manufacturers and they work fine except on the Lightning. I didn't change anything on the chargers, the house, or the truck -- but auto-update was on.

Anyone else have this? It'll connect, go from white ring to blue ring for a few seconds, then when the electricity starts flowing, it goes to an orange ring and I get no charging. Only happens on AC.

Why so many different numbered updates? In the Tesla world we have drasticly different vehicles that get updates based on things like motor type, FSD, different cameras, sensors etc. Doesn't seem like there would be that many variants in the Lightning world. Don't see why a22 Lariat would need a different update from a Platinum. I guess things like ProPower options would change things but I wouldn't think it would need a special update. Your truck would ignore things that didn't apply.

That's the plan. I'm concerned they won't have any idea of what to do.

I got one more piece of info just now on it .... the problem only happens on 240v AC -- if I plug the OEM charger into 120v (20A), it will take the charge. So clearly, the truck thinks something is wrong at 240v AC ("too much juice/heat!!!").

The way I understand it, Ford‘s architecture uses a plethora of different modules that are mostly autonomous, only integrated as necessary, while Tesla uses a mostly centralized system.

Each Ford module gets its own updates.

Most updates (powertrain, charging, etc.) don’t depend on trim level. The areas of Sync, BlueCruise, etc. may be exceptions to that.

This is correct and also shows the simplification of Tesla and manufacturing vs Ford. Ford with the T3 is where Tesla was about 12 years ago.

Haven't been able to find my tender yet... been meaning to just stop by HF and pick one up to try it out. I saw someone posted about setting parking brake so added that to the list of things I've tried, still no luck!
Got a tender, left it on for a couple days, updates still failing. It's no longer offering me this update however and has moved on to one of the other updates, which is also failing to install. I give up!

Yep - mine is at dealer now pending diagnosis.
