I have data for many early 2022 / 2023 members who shared production data.
Your blend day is on your tire placard bottom center, please let us know:

@Old Aviator ?
@lightspeed ?
@GoodSam blend day was 10/12/2022
@Wattsgas blend day was 6/16/2022

Example of blend date : 06/09/2022
Keep in mind that some members have already had their vehicles in for packets to be replaced. My blend date is 4/4/22, and mine was done last May.

I wonder what the liability is if it does start a fire while parked in a garage....my VIN comes up clean for this recall. Just got my nuts replaced for other safety recall.

I’m clear, too. Feb. 2023 build date. Held up by Dearborn battery fire, completed April 2023.

My Build Date was 4/22
Shipped to dealer on 11/4/22. No clue why it stayed with Ford for so long, but IBS Platinum was used in a lot of commercials so maybe its a TV star. It was a Dealer Demo and I purchased it with 880 miles in June 2023. It has ZERO deletes, which was not the case with the the Platinum I had on order and cancelled to buy it.

Have had very few issues other than the Mother-ship was not communicating with it because the number in the truck was difference then the one in her phone book. Took 3 weeks at dealer to figure out. Since them all has been good.

The 80% limit is a problem for me as I need to make a 250 mile drive to get back home on Sunday so it will have to be charged to 100% one more time before I back down to 80% which is not a problem once I get home.

I have a Ford 10 year bumper to bumper warranty so I was prepared for issues like this recall or no recall. I more than paid for it with the savings on the Demo vs the new Platinum I cancelled. AND I got the beautiful Ice Blue Silver which was only available the first year that I really wanted instead of Star White which was my choice for the one on order.

My truck's production date is 4/22 and the blend date is 4/6/22. I read that production began 4/26/22, so mine is very early. It was a dealer "mannequin" demo. I wonder what position mine was along the assembly line. I've heard the the last digits of a VIN aren't necessarily sequential for vehicles going down the line. At any rate, it was made in the first four days of regular production.

My truck is not part of the recall.

Neither the 12v battery nor the HVB are covered by any extended warranty. The HVB has an 8 year / 100,000 mile warranty, so no matter what you bought it has no impact on Ford fixing this. And safety recalls have no time or mileage expiration.

That is the blend day on the truck I ordered, not the one I have. My blend day is 6/16/2022...should have kept the Lariat. Apologize for the confusion...didn't think about updating.

I certainly understand that, but the truck is a rolling computer and potentially an electrical nightmare outside of the battery. Rear brake light assembly over $1,000. I really think the battery is the least of our potential issues, its the cost to replace all those other things that concerns me and I wanted Ford and not some 3rd party company on the hook to fix/replace them if and/or when they occur.
