Fast911 — it’s crazy that Siemens decided to use these letters/ numbers and that font . There is a reason those old software product keys never used these letters interchangeably .. I would have guessed that was a 1 and not and l

I used mix up G and 6 on old MS Windows keys. It was something like this. When they’re side by side, you can tell, but in the middle of a random character sequence…….no chance.

Well there is some history there. Before the days of "fonts" you has ASCII character set 437 stored in ROM, what you could draw on a green VGA screen in 8x8 green pixels. Guess we should be grateful they didn't include the other 8 bit characters as well!

What's that lower case 9 doing there between f and h? :)

I assume one can immediately change the password once they get in which is always a good idea. Just include upper, lower, number, and a symbol, and don't lose it ;). I'd be happy to assist anyone if question can't be posted if you DM. One of my many former hats was a network engineer, now I'd rather be sailing, or farkeling my 1300cc motorcycle or driving a full EV (someday?) when sailing weather is not good.
Nope, you are stuck with that password for life.

Here are a couple new thoughts. .Very interesting to see that @Tony Burgh is also having the same issues now that everyone else is having . He was the only person left that I’ve seen here who os taking an analytical approach but had no problems at the time .

Other things
- it appears that I can reliably charge my truck at any temperature outside at 68amps . Anything higher will ar least cause one error .
- New issue ! If I charge at 80 amps in addition to overheating and faulting it will now always knockout the wifi connection between the charger and the ford server. Could the entire board be getting so hot that the Texas Instruments wifi SOC begins to fail too ? For this error it appears I need to go above 72amps . It’s reliably repeatable . The only fix for this is to power cycle the charger. Attached are some screen shots too showing that the charger is remaining connected to my mesh network and sending data , yet the connection gets lost to the server . This does do one positive thing though. When the connection to the server is lost you don’t get error messages , lol .

Also the week is just about over and we haven’t seen the promised firmware update to the charger . It’s also been longer than the promised 30 days for the tire pressure power up update . So I guess Ford is delaying things in an effort to be more like Tesla ;)

Just plain stupid for them to use "one", the letter "L", as well as the number zero, and the letter "Oh". Stupid.

FYI, since the CSP was installed on Friday, I've done three charges. Unit is outside in Maine. Set to 80 Amps.
  1. Lightning: Was at 50% when started. Failed after 2 hours, after adding 25% / 75 miles. Solid yellow error message. Installation said, "Troubleshoot", but I could not find troubleshooting instructions. I power cycled unit.
  2. Audi e-Tron: Charged for 6 hours (to 100%) with no problems.
  3. Lightning: Was at 70% when started. Charged to 100% in 4.5 hours, after adding 30% / 110 miles with no problems.
I still need to figure out how to connect the CSP to the internet. (It's too far from the house to pick up the network.) I think I'll try a hot spot on my Verizon iPhone.

As a quick suggestion, this product line is a good easy option to get painless maintenance extended wifi -
