Supplier disrupts Tesla charging adapter shipments

I'm almost positive Tesla designed them and owns the IP associated with them.

IP? It's a j3400 to ccs adapter for fast charging and is already made by other companies.

I'm sure we'll all get one eventually.

BTW, Tom (State of Charge) said the Ford adapters are Made in USA.

100% accurate, the CEO of A2Z confirmed in an interview that they are manufactured in China.

EDIT: Wanted to add that they are also having their own delays. I ordered one back on Jun 9 and it hasn't shipped yet. Was expected to ship last week based on the website.

I received mine on 6/17/24. It was originally scheduled for May delivery and modified later for June delivery. My order number was in the 5000 range

i successfully used it today at a Tesla Suoer Charger using the Tesla app.

I also received mine in mid-June. Order 4766, originally set for May, later moved to June. I am pleased they hit the June deadline.

I ordered mine in Feb. Still waiting. Called Ford last month and said delivery imminent. Nope. Called again and they said they hoped by end of 2024. Damn I could have used that adaptor this summer

frankly this is just outrageously ridiculous. I am tired of hearing the excuse that it is "free" and stop the whining over free stuff. No it was part of the deal when I bought my truck that I would be getting this in June. Here we are end of July and no real date on when I will receive mine (13870). Ford is a master at logistics, it is the only way to survive as an OEM. Ford is flat out failing here. they need to prioritize this and fix the issue and get these out!

Yup, got the same thing and had the same reaction. Also checked my adapter status and it says I am still on track for July

I could actually take a summer road trip if the Fast Charging Adapter which was ordered on 2/29/2024 had been delivered.
