I assume that to get this working the Lightning needs at least power folding mirrors, and possibly also a memory capacity in the outside mirrors?Yes.

Nope, just the 360 camera. I have it working on my Pro with the basic mirrors.I assume that to get this working the Lightning needs at least power folding mirrors, and possibly also a memory capacity in the outside mirrors?
Some have used something like https://a.co/d/0Q1ACqW to fool the truck into thinking you have a trailer. You lose Blue Cruise, cross traffic alerts, etc though. There is also the option of 50/50 views which shows both side cameras but requires you to hit the camera button. Is there any way to get side mirror video when turn signal activated without towing?
I tested it before I posted and it works. Note this is for when the truck if off and you open doors or lock/unlock it. Like when you need to get something out of your truck at a camp.Has anyone done this yet on the Lightning successfully? Would love this feature, it would be like generator mode when truck is on and powering a campsite (I think?)
Ok I gotcha, thanks for the reply!I tested it before I posted and it works. Note this is for when the truck if off and you open doors or lock/unlock it. Like when you need to get something out of your truck at a camp.
" turns off cluster lighting, welcome lighting, courtesy lights, SYNC screen, and silences the horn when locking doors."
I don't believe this is for when the truck is On for ProPower. Maybe it works for that but I didn't test. The Sync screen will probably turn on when you start the truck.
Some have noted recently that they were getting flashed more by oncoming drivers after they had increased the DRL brightness. I never did see any difference in any of the lights between the default 10% or changing it to 100%.Why are we saying (not recommended) for the DRL brightness adjustment?
Because they become too bright and many folks who made the change said other drivers were flashing them and so reversed the change or lowered to 25%. It looks like you have your brights on. Posts 6-22.Why are we saying (not recommended) for the DRL brightness adjustment?
Ahh that makes sense. We should maybe clarify that in the description. I’ve not tried it yet. Some have noted recently that they were getting flashed more by oncoming drivers after they had increased the DRL brightness. Sorry missed that. LolI did .
Do you get the extra camera options while driving if you do the turn signal camera mod? Some have used something like https://a.co/d/0Q1ACqW to fool the truck into thinking you have a trailer. You lose Blue Cruise, cross traffic alerts, etc though. There is also the option of 50/50 views which shows both side cameras but requires you to hit the camera button.
This would be great to have until Ford gives us turn signal cams without a trailer. Do you have the Forscan codes to enable 50/50 view? I couldn't find them specific to Lightnings. Some have used something like https://a.co/d/0Q1ACqW to fool the truck into thinking you have a trailer.
