PAAK works great for me but I can’t set a backup passcode which makes me too afraid to rely on it!

I can't set one, either. It asked me to set one up the first time I was setting up my truck but I dismissed the prompt because I was doing something else when it popped up and now I can't figure out where it is in the settings.

It will not be in a power up update. It comes as a separate update. When? Nobody knows and ford won’t/can’t tell you. Who gets it? Here again seems random The RFA module firmware needs updated. Dealers have the update through the FDRS system but we’re told not to do it along with many other firmware updates the early builds need.

I am still waiting as well.

under general u can report an issue, i pressed something related to update not working and got the PAAK update couple days later, but so did alot of other people who didn't do what i did. worth a shot?

Mid-May build, June delivery and just received the update overnight. Took a few restarts of the app to get the PAAK option to show up, but it ultimately did. Haven't had a chance to set it up yet, but happy to finally see it available for the early folks.

My 10/17 blend has PAAK. Picking the vehicle up today. They enabled ford pass so I can see it clear on my app I can get access to it.

My first week of May build received the PAAK update overnight. Took about 10 minutes of refreshing, restarting the app for it to show up. Setup was very easy and everything works great.

Just got this update at around 8PM today… I was picking up my son from practice. Instead of waiting till this AM (auto-install), I opted to install it now instead. Now I guess I need to turn the truck on so I can set it up. I will do that tomorrow morning.

Got mine tonight. However it doesn't work. Can't get phone to "prompt" for the connection after copying it. I have the Samsung Fold 4. Wireless android auto works perfect... I will make another post in the issues forum. On my build date is late July.

I got the update and my PAAK works so far. Set it up on my Samsung Z Fold. Ford Pass had a line that asked me to setup phone as a key. My app also has a walk away lock setting.

Nice….haven’t found that setting on the iApp

That's because it doesn't exist for the Lightning. Yet (hopefully)

That setting is about notifications relating to walk away unlock. Probably for the Mach E.
