I dont see any update on my ford account to show the adapter "situation" (satisfaction program)
I did get a notice to swap out the adapter and updated my info. Did the people who have received a replacement adapter get a shipping notice? @Ish Or did it just show up?

Orders in the 20k region are getting new adapters while we have no word on our replacements.

I did get a shipping notification on a Friday and got it the following Tuesday. FedEx didn’t actually pick it up until the following Monday.

Everything was the same as the original adapter shipping notification.

As am I. Tried to use the original last week and got 7 minutes/17.8 kWh before it ended the session. Now my A2Z adapter has been targeted for replacement and crickets 🦗

Same, fortunately we got an email today from A2Z saying its replacement will be here next week. I also just got off the phone with Ford and they said they are slipping them into current batches going out and that the recalled ones should be out by the end of the month.. we will see.

I wouldn’t believe a thing that Ford’s customer service people say because I doubt they know anything. When I called them, I was told I’d have mine by the 11th of November. I swear they just make 💩 up to get you off the phone.

I just ordered a SuperTap from TeslaTap. Received it in just two days. I used it yesterday and it worked perfectly. They say that they upgraded the locking mechanism that was the main cause for the recall. I see that it has a new metal locking assembly on both the CCS and NACS connectors rather than plastic. It looks good and sturdy. May be a little heavier. Even came with a lanyard to make it easier to activate and not drop.

I've noticed that the website now has a popup for me to check on the status of my adapter. Nothing is updated though, it's still the same old information from when I originally ordered it.

I just received an email notice from Ford that my replacement Tesla adapter, for the one I had ordered last January or February when I had the Mach E, had just shipped.

My original Mach E adapter which I've kept after I traded up to the Lightning, was order #1751, and the Ford email about the just-shipped replacement adapter quotes the same order number as this original adapter had, which I had received in very late May or very early June and have been using ever since.

My Lightning adapter, order 124,424, originally due to have shipped this past October, is now planned to ship this November.

I've noticed that the website now has a popup for me to check on the status of my adapter. Nothing is updated though, it's still the same old information from when I originally ordered it.
I STILL have the new pop up on my account even though I received my new adapter two weeks ago. I advise against believing anything on your ford.com account.

Well this is getting depressing. Seems like a lot of my interaction with Ford is depressing here lately. 🙁

It appeared that the replacements were coming out in order# sequence as reported by those that have mentioned their original order # and having received a shipping email.

The latest one mentioned are now greater than mine and I have not seen any additional communication. 😟

Man this sh$t is getting old!

Rant ended.

Oops! My bad. I still have time to wait. My # was 5131 not 1531 like I thought. Dang old age!
