The update was installed this evening after my Sync screen showed it downloading for over an hour! My truck was just sitting in the garage running in Full Accessory Mode, plugged into my FCSP to charge the LVB. The Connectivity screen and the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the Sync screen both show my truck is connected to Wi-Fi with excellent signal strength, but cellular is only 1 bar. My truck is a 2023 Lariat ER. Its last software update was 6.8 in mid-December 2023. The software update screen has always shown 6.8 COMPLETED since then until today. Just before the update started, the 6.8 COMPLETED message disappeared, and something to the effect of "There are no software updates for your truck at this time" replaced the long-standing 6.8 COMPLETED notice. How ironic!

UNX-DC installed yesterday for me, also. This morning, there's a cryptic announcement of an upcoming update. Better release notes, but leaves me wondering what they are trying to say? I guess I'm getting the release notes, but the update itself is not available yet. Typo is in original.

Ford will make a new update available as soon as possible.

The update failed within a minute of the OTA trigger being activated. It failed due to a manifest mismatch. The update package includes several modules. Since this is to address a CSP, this is not EA related so this is what gets updated.

My truck is currently reporting that I am on update 6.8. I've been there since december. I'm wondering how many of the folks getting this update have completed the battery terminal recall? I know I haven't done the recall yet and I see 4 items waiting for update in FDRS.

PTS doesn't show if it downloaded via wifi or its own modem. Just trying to see if anyone had gotten this with wifi off. Trying to determine if wifi is required as the update says.

I did. Got it yesterday on a short drive. Wi-Fi is turned off on my truck.

Yea, mine got it too, without wifi. We've learned a bit more about it since that post. Wifi will be the only way people that are affected by the TCU issue will get this update.

If it was related to the BMS or battery, the error code would have specified that as being the reason for failure.

The fact that they updated some modules that are included in this OTA package I guess could be why the manifest doesn't match up. However, as you can see at the very bottom of the list of what your dealer did, the last thing they did after the updates was a network scan. In theory, that should have synced everything up with the server. It's virtually impossible to diagnose why an OTA failed.

You are as good as it gets until the get the fix for 6.13 rolling. It was released this week but not installed for many as of yet. Should just be a week or two I would think.

I got this installed yesterday. I haven't done the bms update for what it's worth(part wasn't available last time I took it in).

As usual downloaded while I was out not on WiFi but this time installed while I was out as well (While I was in the store). Still reading the forum trying to see what is changed in "connectivity".
