That message “Ford will make a new update…” usually means that it has expired and you’ll have to wait until it is pushed to your truck again. @rugedraw can check your history to see what caused it to fail but it‘s about 90% going to be 12V battery related. Have you had the BMS replaced (CSP23B70)? If not, that will probably fix things.

A competent Service Advisor (suppress giggle) can tell you your history. Or contact the member mentioned via Private Message (i.e. click his name and Start Conversation). Give him your VIN.

The only way to check OTA is using Ford's PTS website. Post or PM me your VIN and I can provide it to you. The notification you are seeing now most likely means the update you were sent failed for one reason or another. With your VIN, I can check that, too.

Merged several posts from a newer thread into this one and adjusted the title to reflect the theme, as it's been the same since last summer as it is now in recently reported updates.

Mine says ready to download and has been that way for a week. Truck has a wifi connection and auto updates are on. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Nice OTA rollout, Ford.

Got mine installed yesterday without a hitch. Did a check on my 12V battery before attempting it.

Edit: 4.2.1.2 install complete on Feb.16, 2024

Great news - I had a bad update/server push from Ford - rejected by Truck.
BTW - how did you get the SOC and 12V battery information on your screenshot?

I have a MY23 with 2/23 blend date. Have been in a similar path to Jim Lewis (same update order with similar time gaps just 6 months later as I bought the truck 6 months later). Last update was on 2/1/24 to power up 6.2.0.

6.3 and 6.4 is up next for me hopefully.

I got the 6.2 update overnight.

I would like to add that I saw hardly any updates until they did that 12V battery monitor fix bulletin. I've now seen 2 in the past two weeks. So, if you've been dragging your feet on scheduling an appointment, get that done.

Got 6.1 last night, but same situation. Got the 12v recall completed exactly two weeks ago and have gotten 3 updates since.

I'm only guessing, but I think all the latter half MY23 trucks have been held back in the bullpen while they tweaked out the most recent buggs and got the LVB/BMS solution rolling, now that it's out, they have opened the floodgates with a little staggering built in just in case something goes sideways again.
