Can Ford just give us THESE release notes instead of the creative writer writing 2 pages of cringe yet still not mentioning important behavior changes?Full release notes because Ford doesn’t publish them-
Summary
Priority Update 22-PU0930-RBA-CHM for 2022 F-150 Lightning vehicles is now available. Quality Improvements include: - Updated Frunk Chime Strategy - Removal of brake assist warning pop-up - Mitigate erroneous Crosstrafic Assist pop-up due to incorrect configuration - "Emergency Tow Enabled" is now correctly called out instead of "Neutral Tow Enabled" in the popup. - Improved key off load (KOL) - Enables Low tire pressure warning to show up on Ford Pass.
There isn't an easy way that I know of. With certain updates that are considered "priority updates", Ford issues a TSB so you just google the update name with the letters TSB or search through all of the TSBs manually and look for the corresponding update which is what I did with this one.how do you see these updates??
Anytime you do a remote start the DCDC charges your LVB.There isn't an easy way that I know of. Also after 7 failed attempts yesterday, I woke up this morning after my truck preconditioned and it installed without issues on the first try.. There seems to be absolutely no reason why updates fail unless preconditioning charged my 12V battery?
Do you know what LVB voltage they are looking for when checking for a software update?Anytime you do a remote start the DCDC charges your LVB.
It is not just LVB voltage but capacityDo you know what LVB voltage they are looking for when checking for a software update?
That is a big miss, they keep doing that.Even the full patch notes don't mention the SoC improvement...good grief...
And after about 8 failures and 2 or 3 days - it installed today. Gasp - the truck wasn't even locked !!! So truly - there are no consistent known requirements on what it takes to get these to install other than you can know 12 v SOC has the big part to play and resetting the BMS for it is about the only thing to make it happen. The download finished last night. Two failures since then. Will drive to lunch and reset the BMS again.
It's white because your knuckles turn white when you have to grab the wheel and save your truck from swerving into the vehicle next to you for no reason.I received this update last night, has anyone else noticed that the BlueCruise hands-on wheel logo is now white instead of blue?
Kinda makes sense to me, only really bluecruise when it's hands freeI received this update last night, has anyone else noticed that the BlueCruise hands-on wheel logo is now white instead of blue?
